Another memorable and significant day for the Kagyu Institute Of Buddhist Studies - the First Anniversary of its Grand Inauguration and Opening. Accordingly, Shangpa Rinpoche arranged events at KIBS and at the Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandhu to mark the occasion.
Hundreds of Singaporean and local Nepalese guests attended the event. Some of the events organised included a Guru Rinpoche Long Life Initiation for all those present at the Institute, Monlam prayers, Thousand Lamp and other offerings, as well as offerings of Robes to the Sangha at the Great Stupa.
